I recently finished university, and have access to my university gmail account for another 2 or 3 months. Is there a way to backup those emails (or atleast the ones marked as important) to another email? I dont know if I'll ever need them, but if it isnt too much work, then i would rather have them stored somewhere, just in case. Sign in to your Gmail account. Hit on the Profile Icon place in the upper right corner. Select My Account button. You will be redirected to My Account Page. Click on Sign-in & Security. Scrolling down a little bit you would find 2-Step Verification. Else, you can directly go there. Step 1: Open your registered Gmail account in which you want to get back deleted emails. Step 2: Locate and click on the Bin or Trash folder to get the list of all deleted emails. Select one or more emails Click on the Move to Inbox option.

- Sign in to your Gmail account.
- Hit on the Profile Icon place in the upper right corner.
- Select My Account button.
- You will be redirected to My Account Page.
- Click on Sign-in & Security.
- Scrolling down a little bit you would find 2-Step Verification. Else, you can directly go there.
- Now, select Verification Codes tab.
- Now scroll down and click on Backup Codes.
- Click on Generate Codes button. If anyone has already cooked up a set of backup codes, this button would say Show Codes.
- Now a page will appear where Google would provide a set of 8 digits 10 backup numeric digit.
- You can have a hard copy by clicking on the Print button. Otherwise to save it, click on Save toText File button.
- The file will be named as [your username].txt and save the file on a safe disk of your laptop, in case you lost your hard copy.
